excited to bring you the SECOND EDITION Sand Squirrel Off-Road Duathlon for 2021--a blend of trail running, trail biking and more trail running! Sand Squirrel will be a unique challenge suited for beginners as well as experienced off-road enthusiasts.

Thisl event is limited to 150 participants, so sign up early to ensure your spot!

Choose how you DARE GREATLY:

SAND SQUIRREL OFF-ROAD DUATHLON

Start Time: 7:45am (due to COVID we may be doing smaller start waves starting at this time--each spaced 5 minutes apart)
Course: Trail Run (2.8 miles), Mountain Bike (13.25 miles), Trail Run (2 miles)
Special Challenges: There will be one "special challenge" to complete at the end of the bike course and one to complete before crossing the finish line.
Aid Stations: One at the Transition Area. Participants should carry fluids on the run and on their bike.
Kids 9 years old and up can compete in the Sand Squirrel.
We also have a two-person relay team division in the this distance--one runner, one biker.

EXTREME--SAND SQUIRREL OFF-ROAD DUATHLON (2X the course above)

Start Time: 7:30am
Course: Trail Run (5.6 miles), Mountain Bike (24 miles), Trail Run (4 miles)
Special Challenges: There will be one "special challenge" to complete at the end of the bike course and one to complete before crossing the finish line.
Aid Stations: One at the Transition Area. Participants should carry fluids on the run and on their bike.
Kids 14 years old and up can compete in the Extreme.

NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION BUT IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN REGISTERING PLEASE EMAIL US ASAP AS WE STILL HAVE SPACE AVAILABLE

COVID UPDATES: Please practice social distancing while in common areas, wear masks while not racing/on course, use hand sanitizer and be extra patient with staff, volunteers and fellow participants. Be prepared with your own fluids and nutrition while you are out on the course and/or in the transition area.
